Muhammed Habib Aliyu
Graduated from Ahmadu Bello University in 1977 with LLB (Hons) and was called to the Bar in 1978 as Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria; LLM in 1986 followed with MA from King’s College, University of London in 2006. He did a post-graduate course in maritime law at the University of Southampton, U. K. and attended courses in Leadership and Development at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, USA. A former Regional Legal Adviser at First Bank Plc and later Legal Adviser/Corp. Sec. of NICON Insurance Plc till 1993 when he left for Private Legal Practice. He subsequently served as Attorney-General/ Commissioner for Justice in Bauchi State and was appointed Minister of State for Transportation 2005-2007. Serves on the Board of several companies and a member of many professional bodies.
