LIMA, PERU (April 6, 2020) – Cenfura Ltd. is proud to announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Grupo Imobiliario Quantum (http://quantum.pe/). Cenfura will build and provide transactive energy to Quantum’s ‘Flamenco Condominio and Resort’ project (https://flamencos.com.pe/). The project consists of 570 Family Villas, 235 semidetached houses, and 654 apartments, along with a large commercial center and a 130-room hotel. Construction of the project is underway, with 360 of the lots for villas already sold and 45 of the villas already built.
Cenfura will supply 10 MW of power to the Flamenco project and will also deploy the Cenfura platform to provide full transactive energy capabilities. Additionally, the Cenfura Token (Symbol: XCF) will be used for settlement of energy transactions, including the pre-purchase of energy. Commencement of the Cenfura renewable energy power plant will be Q3 2020 and the first units will be powered by Cenfura by the end Q4 2020.
Quantum is owned by Mr. Pedro Chamorro Reyes, a Spanish Architect and 30-year veteran of the property development world. Mr. Chamorro Reyes is recognized as a visionary expert in eco-sustainable buildings and clean energy and he has built thousands of units across Spain. Ten years ago, Mr. Chamorro Reyes moved to Lima, Peru, where he has built and finished 3 large projects.
Regarding his new partnership with Cenfura, Mr. Chamorro Reyes said “I am very excited and happy to be working with Cenfura as they understand the way the world is moving, particularly in using their blockchain-based solutions to tokenize energy plus other utilities such as water. I expect this to be the first of many joint projects together.”
